Thanks

Yoki battled cancer for 8 years, but was never alone. She was surrounded by loving family and friends, and was cared for by dedicated doctors and nurses.

All that love helped Yoki beat the odds, live to see the children married, hug a granddaughter, continue to do what she loved - art, dancing, music - till her last day.

We were overwhelmed by the love of friends, the kindness of strangers, the many who made donations in Yoki's memory to cancer research and other charities.

Dr. Andrew Seidman of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) was Yoki's oncologist and guardian angel. An active cancer researcher and physician in care of hundreds, Dr. Seidman was never too busy or too far. We are forever in his debt.

We were touched by other angels; special thanks to Doreen Bacotti and Roz Kleban of MSKCC for all they have done.

Finally, thanks to friends - too numerous for mention - who stood by Yoki. We were all lucky to have her in our lives.
